Konstantinos Merakos is a lawyer and a graduate of McGill University and the London School of Economics and Political Science, where he obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Politics and Government of the European Union. Mr. Merakos also obtained law degrees (LL.L. and Juris Doctor) from the Universities of Montreal and Ottawa.
Throughout his career, Mr. Merakos has demonstrated his dedication to public service and citizen advocacy. As a lawyer and former legislative assistant to the Parliament of Canada, he has worked in the fields of human rights and freedoms, youth protection, veterans’ affairs and constitutional law.
Today, Konstantinos Merakos continues his dedication to public service as the official candidate for the federal Conservative Party of Canada in the riding of Laval-Les Îles, under the leadership of the Honourable Pierre Poilievre.
